Engineering Workshops and Laboratories
NAFC houses well equipped engineering/electrical/electronic workshops and laboratories providing the required facilities to support nautical studies and engineering provision.

Machining/Fabrication Workshop
A fully equipped workshop to bend, cut and finish material by hand or machine.

General Maintenance & Welding Workshop
Comprising a well equipped welding bay and a maintenance workshop with a range of static and fully operational engines and associated machinery. In addition there is a small electrical test and repair area.

Electrical/Electronic
A fully equipped laboratory for the teaching of electronics and control engineering including pneumatics and hydraulics.
