Caroline Hepburn

Caroline has been based within NAFC since 1994 and her qualifications are: HNC Office Administration, HNC Business Administration, HND Business Administration and NEBOSH.

As Liaison Officer with NAFC Marine Centre, Caroline has responsibility for student support and maintains strong links with schools, fisheries industry and local businesses.  In her role she co-ordinates training for local fisheries industries - both Skillseekers and mature students - and has management responsibility for Shetland Fisheries Training Association (SFTA), a Company Limited by Guarantee.

She contributes to the UHI Defining Student Support Group, Local  Vocational Pathways, Transition Groups, Training Forum, Careers Convention working group and represents the NAFC Marine Centre on the North Forum, liaising with Aspire North to reach objectives.  During the summer months Caroline is actively involved in promoting, co-ordinating and hosting nursery, pre-school and primary school visits to the "Seas Around Us" area within the Centre.
